Emeritus Adnan is a retired professor and publisher of theories. A widower, he has nothing else to do but hang around the campus guiding and instructing students in the honorable traditions of scholarly study.
He is a bit long-winded, and sees nothing wrong with adding in a few personal observations along with more scholarly advice. These observations often involve just what he thinks about insubordinate children of the day, needless material wants, and so on.
